This is excellent value 1:1 resin from a big brand in resin crafting. I do find it to be fairly bubble free but this can change with environmental factors. If the room is too cold it will be much thicker and can also create more bubbles. One trick to eliminate this is give them a warm bath for 10 mins (a bowl of hot water, not scorching though). But beware this reduces the working time. Under normal usage I have found I can get about 40 mins working time before it starts to thicken up. I have also noticed this seems to be odour free but you should always use a respirator when using resin.

Curing time is also down to environmental factors and how deep your project is. Very thin means a much much longer curing time. I always wait 24 hours to demould though.

Results, bubble free (unless user error), and a lovely glossy finish.

Update to this review since having the experience below. The seller has shown excellent customer service and been amazing at helping me to resolve the issues I have had. While I’ve not had a chance to try again I will do and update this review.

Purchased as very reasonable price and less than previous supplier. However in spite of following manufacturer instructions, warming resin, trying to pop/heat bubbles to remove after pour there was still too many remaining to use items. It’s also very thick. It does set very clear though which is good.

Despite following the instructions to the letter, I wasn't really able to get consistent results from this resin. Despite warming it, measuring carefully and stirring gently but thoroughly on each occasion, the first batch was cloudy and full of bubbles, neither of which resolved. I gave it a second chance and had an amazing result: crystal clear and relatively bubble free. Thinking the first batch must have been teething problems I prepared a third batch (the last of the bottles) only for it to act just like the first. I admit I'm new to epoxy but this was the second brand I'd tried after having much success with another epoxy, which I couldn't source. Maybe it was me, but just wanted to leave an honest review of my experience.

Das Harz härtet sehr gut und vorallem blasenfrei aus. Die Topfzeit ist lang genug bemessen, dass das Resin ausreichend Zeit zum auslüften hat. Wie üblich bei Resin hilft ein Stabfeuerzeug für größere Bläschen, ansonsten sollte man den Sweetspot zwischen "Komponenten sind kalt genug, um nicht zu schnell zu vernetzen" und "Komponenten sind warm genug um für das Mischen flüssig genug zu sein" finden, das erfordert allerdings etwas mehr "Jugend Forscht"-Energie, als mir lieb wäre, hier wäre mir eine Herstellerangabe für optimale Rahmenbedingungen deutlich lieber.

Ansonsten härtet das Harz vergleichsweise bläulich aus. Ich verstehe warum diese Additiva hinzugegeben werden, stört aber bei optisch ansprechenden Anwendungen doch immens. Wenn man es eh mit Alkoholfarben und Mica einfärbt, spielt dies aber nur eine untergeordnete Rolle.

Das Epoxidharz von Teexpert hat mich neugierig gemacht, weil es mit blasenfreier Selbstnivellierung und UV-Beständigkeit wirbt – beides entscheidende Faktoren für hochwertige Harzprojekte. Nach mehreren Anwendungen kann ich sagen, dass dieser Harz viele Versprechen hält, aber auch etwas Erfahrung und Geduld erfordert, um die besten Ergebnisse zu erzielen.

Die Mischung im 1:1-Verhältnis von Harz und Härter ist einfach und auch für Anfänger gut zu handhaben. Mit einer Verarbeitungszeit von 45 Minuten bleibt genügend Spielraum, um das Harz sorgfältig zu vermengen und in die gewünschte Form zu bringen. Die Aushärtung erfolgt innerhalb von 24 Stunden, wobei ich bei dickeren Schichten festgestellt habe, dass es sinnvoll ist, zusätzliche Zeit einzuplanen. Nach etwa 48 Stunden ist das Harz dann wirklich fest und langlebig.

Ein wichtiger Tipp: Blasen sind trotz der selbstentlüftenden Eigenschaften zunächst vorhanden, können aber durch gezielte Maßnahmen wie leichtes Erwärmen (z. B. mit einem Heißluftfön) effektiv entfernt werden. Besonders bei flachen Oberflächen und detaillierten Formen funktioniert dies gut.

Ergebnisse und Finish
Das Endergebnis ist beeindruckend. Das Harz härtet glasklar aus und bietet ein Hochglanz-Finish, das nahezu makellos ist – vorausgesetzt, man hält sich an die Anweisungen und vermeidet vorzeitiges Berühren oder Entformen. Es zeigt keine Fischaugen oder Krater, die bei minderwertigen Harzen häufig auftreten.

Trockenzeit bei dicken Schichten: Für dickere Projekte ist mehr Geduld erforderlich, da die vollständige Aushärtung länger als 24 Stunden dauern kann.
Berührungsempfindlichkeit: Es ist wichtig, das Harz während der Trocknungszeit nicht zu stören, da sonst Abdrücke oder Unebenheiten entstehen können.

Ich hatte die Gelegenheit zwei Sets von Teexpert zu testen, die von der Größe und dem Preis her identisch sind. Aus meiner Sicht hat man mit diesem Set zwar das minimal schlechtere in den Händen, dennoch reicht es auch hier zu einer 5 Sterne Bewertung.

Erst mal zu den Gründen, warum ich dieses Set als schlechter bewerte:
Zum einen gibt es hier nur 2 Rührstäbchen als Beigabe - im anderen Set sind es 4.
In diesem Set sind weder Handschuhe noch Fingerlinge, um das ganze ein wenig Klebfreier zu gießen enthalten
Auch findet man hier keine Ausgießtülle, die das Ausgießen etwas einfacher (Bläschenfreier) machen würde.
Zuletzt kommt die Kanister-Optik natürlich ein wenig fishy herüber, weil man vielleicht denken könnte, dass man mehr bekommt, als man wirklich tut. Daher nochmal ganz klar: 16 (2x8) Unzen entspricht grob 470 ml.

Nichtsdestotrotz bekommt das Produkt 5 Sterne, da zum einen das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut okay ist.
Viel wichtiger ist in meinen Augen aber vor allem auch eine gute und klar verständliche Anleitung - und da gibt es eine der besten Anleitungen, die ich überhaupt nur gesehen habe. Hier werden sogar noch ein paar Tipps gegeben, die mir zuvor noch ganz neu waren - etwa dass man oberflächliche Blasen mit einem Feuerzeug weg bekommt und wie man auch Bläschen im Material reduzieren kann.
So entstehen dann schöne Werkstücke, die kaum noch Wünsche offen lassen.
Zu meinem Bild sei noch gesagt, dass ich die eingegossenen Buchstaben mit dem anderen Set gemacht habe, den durchsichtigen Teil aber mit diesem Set. Dies nur zur Vervollständigung.

Es gibt übrigens noch einen Punkt, in dem dieses Set es besser macht, als das andere Set: Die Beschriftung der Deckel. Denn da kann durchaus auch schon mal etwas Harz/Härter dran hängen bleiben und ich weiß nicht, was dann mit der Masse passiert, wenn in das Harz ein wenig Härter gelangt oder umgekehrt. Daher finde ich es gut, dass hier eben auch Deckelmarkierungen aufgebracht sind (wobei man dann die kleinen zusätzlichen Plastik-Kappen, die man auf dem Foto nicht sieht idealerweise in den passsenden Deckel legen sollte).

Ich nehme dieses Harz sehr gerne. Es lässt sich super verarbeiten, gut zum Anmixen. Es bilden sich kaum Luftblasen. Sollten sich doch mal welche eingeschlichen haben, sind sie sehr schnell an der Oberfläche und können entfernt werden. Es ist weder zu dick noch zu dünn. Es trocknet recht schnell, wenn es auch kein Turbo-Harz ist. Die Weiterverarbeitung des ausgehärteten Harzes ist solide und ohne großen Aufwand mit den geeigneten Werkzeugen möglich.

Meine Kugel war tatsächlich schön stabil nach 24 Stunden, aber leider haben es die Bläschen trotz Einsatz von Heißluftpistole nicht rausgeschafft. Es bildete sich zu schnell eine feste Kappe auf der Form.

Meine Mini-Bärchen sind auch fest geworden, aber wohl wegen der Form glänzen sie nicht, sondern sind matt. Sechs von acht Bärchen hatten Bläschen, die nur schwer mit Heißluftpistole herauszubekommen waren. Aber zwei Bärchen waren perfekt und nach 24 Stunden fertig.

Mein Schmuckelement war nach 24 Stunden definitiv nicht fertig. Die Spitze war quasi noch flüssig und ist daher leider kaputt gegangen. Ich denke, dafür wären wahrscheinlich 72 Stunden besser gewesen.

Es kommt wohl auf den Einsatz des Epoxidharzes und das Maß an Geduld an, ob dieses Resin für den Anwender geeignet ist. Für flache Formen würde ich es uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
