Very useful cat feeder for a long weekend away
This rechargeable battery cat feeder is quite a sophisticated item, much more so than the one we use at the moment, which uses replaceable batteries and only has two, rather than 6 food dishes. As we have a cat door and our cat is quite independent using this one means that we can go now go away for long weekends without searching for someone to come in to look after our cat. I do have some doubts in relation to the sales information. Although there are two ice packs to keep the covered food fresh, the ice will of course melt quite soon in the summer months so the idea of 6 days of use is not realistic. Secondly, the compartments are quite small compared to our current timed feeder so one meal a day for 6 days is unrealistic even for a single cat. More realistically this is potentially a 2 or 3 day feeder, which will still be very useful for us. The design is good, though it is inevitably quite large. It disassembles easily for washing and though not terribly heavy duty in build it should be fine for its purpose. I also really like that it is USB rechargeable and that full charge will be more than ample for a full 6 meals on timer. The current cost of £69.99 seemed high to me, especially after receiving it and noting that the materials are not as robust as my current 2 bowl timer feeder. I therefore checked on the current price of my existing one and it is very much less expensive. Investigating further suggests that more similar ones to this, with 6 bowls and also USB rechargeable can also be found for less. Hopefully the seller will take this into account and will drop the price to something more competitive, so rating it without taking the current cost into account I will give it 4 stars.

I am using it to maintain the strict feeding schedule for my diabetic cat when we need to go out for longer hours.     Brought this as it state 25 days battery hold but this is only happens if you turn the timer off and then everytime you turn on you have to reset the actual time not the timer times. If you leave it on when not in use it will only last ONE WEEK. Not really useful for me

    The product works as it should for 2 days with wet food. I would not leave wet food for longer than that as the ice packs seem to return to room temperature after 36 hours or so. I would suggest leaving dry food after day 2. You can program 5 meals. There are 6 compartments but one is of course open (where the meal will be served). Took me awhile to figure out but once I did it was very easy. The battery takes 8 hours to fully charge. However it has lasted many days so far.

    Testé cette semaine et fonctionne à merveille.

    Après avoir chargé la batterie grâce au câble de type USB-C (attention l'adaptateur à une prise électrique n'est pas fourni) j'ai pu découvrir le distributeur.

    A l'intérieur il y a deux grands pains de glace à placer au réfrigérateur puis à replacer dans le distributeur pour garder au frais les aliments humides.
    Le distributeur a 6 espaces repas qui sont assez grands pour mettre de belles quantités de nourriture.

    La notice est en anglais mais je n'ai eu aucun mal à comprendre ce qu'il fallait faire, je l'ai trouvée très intuitive.

    On enlève la partie supérieure pour remplir chaque compartiment avec la nourriture souhaitée, puis on referme très facilement.

    On peut facilement programmer les heures auxquelles on souhaite rendre les repas disponibles. A chaque heure programmée on entend un petit bip et le plateau intérieur tourne, libérant l'accès au repas suivant. Ce petit bip est assez discret, je veux dire par là qu'il ne nous réveille pas la nuit. Mais il permet de prévenir l'animal que le repas est servi.

    Bon à savoir : c'est le plateau du milieu qui tourne, pas celui du dessus. Donc peu importe où le distributeur est placé dans la maison, le trou est toujours au même endroit, l'animal n'a pas besoin de contourner le distributeur pour accéder aux repas.

    Testé sur 3 jours, je n'ai pas encore eu besoin de recharger la batterie.

    Distributore di cibo per gatti,o meglio,si ha la possibilità di poter inserire sei pasti e , volendo,distribuirli nell'arco della Giornata o in più occasioni.Funziona a batteria e ha anche la funzione timer che permette di decidere quale scomparto aprire per prima e per quanto tempo, così come i restanti 6.Facile da pulire, consigliato soprattutto per chi manca spesso da casa e vuol distribuire al meglio il cibo!

    Der Futterautomat kam ordentlich verpackt und ohne Beschädigungen bei mir an.
    Das Gehäuse ist aus Kunststoff gefertigt, die einzelnen Näpfe aus Metall.
    Die Funktionsweise ist denkbar einfach und das macht den Futterautomat genial. Man füllt die einzelnen Näpfe mit Futter, welches durch den Kühlakku frisch gehalten wird. Allerdings würde ich hier auf keinen Fall das Futter für 6 Tage darin unterbringen. Je nach Raumtemperatur sind die Kühlakkus relativ schnell warm und dann würde das Futter anfangen zu gammeln.
    Ich habe ja mehrere Katzen und habe den Automaten so programmiert, dass vier Portionen pro Tag frei gegeben werden. So ist auch die letzte Portion immer noch leicht gekühlt.
    Man erhält hier einen praktischen Helfer, um seine Stubentiger vor dem unmittelbar bevor stehenden Hungertod zu schützen (Katzenhalter wissen genau, was ich damit meine). Anfangs erschraken sie, als der Automat auf die nächste Position weiter drehte, aber inzwischen ist das Geräusch zu ihrer Futterglocke geworden. Das Gerät ist kompakt, lässt sich sehr gut reinigen und wird von den Katzen gut angenommen. Einzig die Aussage man könne Futter für 6 Tage darin unterbringen stimmt nicht, denn dafür wäre eine aktive Kühlung notwendig.
