      I have used this on an older Panasonic Viera television to conect my Megaloop pro hearing aid loop for use with my Sigma hearing aids and a LG soundbar and speaker. Very easy to connect the optical connectors and the sound of the soundbar and loop are totally in sinc with each other and the tv picture and sound. It's actually the most in sinc Ive ever had with my hearing aids with a television, previously they were very slightly out with the picture with my old loop system. Would definately recommend to digital hearing aid users.

      I wanted to upgrade my work from home set-up desperately - I have a personal PC at home with my own keyboard and mouse, as well as 2 monitors. I was getting sick of having to manually unplug and re-plug into my work laptop on the days I wanted to work from home, and so often resorted to just pushing my keyboard and mouse back, and working on just the laptop, which was very inconvenient.

      With this, I mounted it to the underside of my desk, so it is out of site, and fed one input to my PC, and one to a USB-C hub - also mounted beneath my desk. Now, all I have to do is plug one USB-C cable into my laptop, push the hidden button under my desk, and both monitors, my keyboard, and my mouse switch into work mode within seconds. Definitely worth the set-up!

      Use is exactly what I wanted, dual screen KVM with hotkey switching between my MacOS and Linux boxes.

      There is one feature that affected me and discussing with the supplier to Amazon it seems to be a "feature' of the design - if you have two screens of different resolution, it will downgrade both screens to worst resolution. This is a shame for me as I have two screens of different sizes, my larger one is less than the advertised 4K support, it is an ultra-widescreen (3440x1440 21:9) screen which gets changed to 1900x1080 stretched if I plug in my second monitor, so make sure both your monitors are the same resolution before you buy this product or be aware of this limitation.

      I have a Samsung OLED (90C) that does actually have an analog audio output (3.5mm) but it is very noisy, producing lots of squelching from EM interference. This tv also has optical audio output and can even use USB DACs. I had settled on using a Schiit DAC to send audio from the TV to my soundbar, but periodically the tv wouldn't detect the DAC and would then switch back to internal speakers, which was frustrating. Other times, it would send a horrifying, loud screech to the DAC which was then passed to the soundbar. I couldn't use the optical output for my soundbar because that was going to my Sennheiser wireless tv headphones (TR185, which are awesome). However, optical still seemed to be the best output option on this tv in terms of reliability and signal quality. I guess there's also eARC, which in my experience is endlessly flaky, and I needed all my HDMI ports for other things.

      All of that is to say, this little box solved my issues. I power it from the usb port on the TV, and it splits the tv's optical output to the Sennhesier headphones and my soundbar. I can use both simultaneously if I want, sound quality is great, and everything stays in sync. Of course, this box won't help anyone wanting HDMI audio for Atmos or other cutting edge surround formats, but I'm limited to stereo through the headphones or soundbar, which I use for space-saving reasons, so in my case it's perfect. I tuck it back behind a shelf and its out of sight, out of mind. My only gripe is that it has no visible indicator that it's working; no LED or anything. But if you are getting sound, that means it's working. We'll see if it is made to last!
