Q1: What devices can be charged/powered by EB240? A: With its 1000W AC inverter, the solar generator can power most of your appliances under 1000W.

Q2: How long will EB240 power my device? A: Working time (estimation) = 2400Wh * 0.85 / operating power of your device. (0.85=Conversion Rate) Kindly note the actual working time may vary under different circumstances.

Q3: What kind of solar panel should I choose? A: The total Open Circuit Voltage should be between 16V-60V. For a better result, we recommend 2 x BLUETTI PV120 / PV200 to charge the EB240.

Q4: Can I charge this power station via the 12V car socket? A: Yes. But a D050S (DC Charging Enhancer) from BLUETTI is required to achieve the car charging.

[Updated] Overall worth the money

[Updated] Overall worth the money
[updated review] The EB150 is a great device that I would recommend to anyone looking to lower their reliance on the grid and in turn save money. The device does cost quite a bit but when you factor in the new Ofgem price cap increases in the UK (another one in October 2022 and again in January 2023) plus what's actually in the EB150 (Lithium Polymer batteries, high solar input / MPPT), it's actually well priced. You could create a similar setup using other devices such as a Growatt / your own batteries and save a few pounds but in the end what you save (in my opinion) wouldn't be worth it. The convenience of having an 'all in one' solution packaged in a metal case without the need to start wiring anything up is worth paying that bit extra for. I have had my EB150 for over a year now hooked up to 6 solar panels (160watts each) in a 2S3P setup. This means in the UK I get on average 380watts input for most of the day (up to 440 watts if it's cold and sunny (cold = more volts) ). By swapping some devices to more energy efficient ones, we have managed to completely take our small home office off the grid (saving around 3-5 KwH per day). We have had 2 power cuts this year, one lasting for several hours and both times we were able to continue working. On the 2nd power cut I realised I could take advantage and called BT to complain about our FTTC internet connection. BT's usual excuse was the speeds were slow and the line is unstable due to the volume of customers. However, during the power cut, they couldn't use this excuse (since I was pretty sure I was the only one in our small village that had power)! After explaining this to them, it allowed us to get an engineer out and fix the broadband issues. After various experimenting we found an oil heater that the EB150 can power for several hours (PELONIS PHOENIX 7E Oil Filled Radiator 1500W an amazon). Whilst the highest setting trips the EB150 (since its 1500watts), the lower settings (600 and 900watts) allow us to power it for several hours. This has been great at keeping the gas bills down by allowing us to heat our lounge at nights. I have checked the solar inputs on the EB150 using a watt meter (see image) and they are pretty accurate. Two things are worth noting though, 1) the EB150 will not register any input on the display if the solar input is under 40 watts (however, the watt meter used for testing showed that current was flowing into the EB150 so it was still charging at 40w, 2) for some reason when I turn on the AC and plug my phone (or my partners) into the AC socket, both android phones don't seem to respond to touch control. To be more precise, they seem to detect your finger but act like you tapped a separate section of the screen. The USB 5V and 45W charging ports do not experience this same issue. The phone still charged fine (allowed full fast 60W charge via AC) but it was a bit annoying not being able to use the phone at the same time. Again, not a game changer but something worth noting. I have seen some people online say the device is too heavy and whilst it is, you won't get a lighter or more compact device with the same battery capacity (especially not at this price point). As such, I'd take any review regarding weight with a pinch of salt. After a year of everyday use, we had our first issue (one of the fans started to make a grinding noise). It’s a very similar noise to when a computer fan is old and has a bit of dust trapped in the spindle. Whilst this is likely a very easy fix, opening it would likely void my warranty. As such I reached out to the seller who got back to me and explained they would arrange for collection and have the device fixed. I asked if I could instead of getting it fixed, return it and upgrade to the AC200P (I'm happy with the bluetti / PowerOAK brand so it seemed like a good time to upgrade). As such, this will likely be the last update on this review (assuming the return / refund goes well etc with LH Power-UK (used to trade under MAXOAK Direct-UK). Overall, the Eb150 is a good device and something I would recommend. If your budget can stretch it, try and go for the higher battery models (EB240 has 2.4kwh). In the long run (especially with the way gas / electric prices are going), you will be thankful of the extra battery capacity. I have been using new new PowerOak 1000w portable power supply for a weeks now.
The unit is around the size of a mini tower Pc and has
    4x 3a USB ports
    1xusb C port
    1x 12v 9amp car charging port
    2x 230v 1000w UK plug sockets
The unit has a built in inverter for 230v power and solar charger for safe solar power charging of the unit.
The unit comes with a standard AC adaptor and solar cable for charging.

I bought this for a few specific reasons- Portable Power for -
-Off Grid Garage to power light power tools
So firstly for my garage I’m able to power tools and lights for my car restorations. I simply charged the unit overnight and take it out when I want to work in the garage which is not close the house unfortunately,
I have 12v DC led strip lighting and 230v AC tools. I’m able to get a full day with medium use of the unit.

    - Off Grid Power for Garden Office
Likewise with my garage I have a small garden office without power. Using this unit I’m able to power a small pc, monitor, flat screen tv and lighting.

    - Work
So as you can see in my pictures this unit not even breaking a sweat powering my Fridge Freezer. As an electrician I use this device for provide temporary power for critical equipment during Powerdowns.
For example during distribution board changes, the power is off for a number of hours. From this unit from a recent power down I was able to run a fridge freezer, Wireless router, Flatscreen Tv and charge the family phones.

While the unit is impressive is it quite heavy. But it is expected especially how much power this unit punches.
The unit has a sturdy carry handle with rubber grip so is comfortable to carry.
The build is great with no issues or complaints.

A fantastic Power Source for all needs...

Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 May 2020
I have been using new new PowerOak 1000w portable power supply for a weeks now.

I bought both this and the PowerOak AC50 after extensive research on the net. They were both initially to be used when I went 'off grid' in my motorhome. However as we are now in 'lockdown' that review will have to wait and this will be about my overall impressions of them both around the home. Firstly I would like to say how efficient the dispatch and delivery was from PowerOak even in these difficult times and the product arrived sooner than expected and I was able to track it's progress at all times.
I initially bought the AC50 as I thought it would be ideal for powering my laptop with it's pure sine inverter and my small motorhome 12v LED TV. It was also ideal in that I could easily charge it from the solar panel on my van's roof or from the vehicles 12v socket when driving. I also have various smaller gadgets such as a Garmin GPS and smart watch which can all be charged from the USB sockets. My friend has a wireless charge Samsung and that sits happily on top charging. All in all I was very impressed. So impressed was I that I decided to buy the EB150.
This will quite happily power my microwave and also a slow cooker. This is ideal when off grid in the van as I can leave something cooking all day in the slow cooker so I have an evening meal when I return to the van....or in colder months I like to cook porridge overnight in it.
I have been trying various household items with it such as my larder fridge and my freezer and it happily powers both of those. It is comforting to know, especially in these difficult times, that I can power essential equipment for extra time if there is a power failure. I did look at other makes some of which had larger inverters but the use of well thought of LG batteries and the reliability of the AC50 made the choice of the EB150 an easy one.
I have both solar panels on the roof of my van and a portable fold out panel as well. Both units have MPPT charge controllers and last week although not ideal weather the EB150 was drawing about 90w from a 120w panel. I will be interested to see how they perform when the sun is higher in the sky.
All in all for the 'casual' and not very scientific minded user both these items are ideal, reasonably priced and of a high quality.
I already have friends who have asked to borrow the AC50 for their glamping trips if we are ever allowed out!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Devuelto no me gusto nada y tarde
Reviewed in Spain on 9 December 2021

5.0 out of 5 stars Für meine Inselanlage

3.0 out of 5 stars Paneles mejorables
Reviewed in Spain on 5 November 2021

5.0 out of 5 stars Excelente estación de energía
Reviewed in Spain on 17 July 2021

Product description

This PowerOak EB240 portable solar power station provides adequate power for outdoor use and indoor use for travelers, outdoor enthusiasts, campers, RVs, ocean anglers, and even seaboard. Other than the huge capacity it delivers, it has other exciting features. For instance, it has a standard AC outlet and a large LCD display. The AC outlet ensures you have a safe connection to the device. That makes it compatible with all appliances that draw less than 1000W. With PowerOak-Power station you always have enough energy reserves, no matter whether during outdoor activities or in the event of a power failure at home. The PowerOak power station has two 230V AC sockets, a vehicle 12V output as well as four USB and one USB-C output. A round socket is available as an input, which can be supplied by various power sources. Since this power station is capable of outputting 1000W of power, PowerOak EB240 has a built-in fan that turns on once the power station reaches an output of over 400W when using the AC outlets or over 80W when using the 12Volt outlet to keep things cool. The fan also turns on when you’re recharging using an AC adapter, and also for Solar recharging. The EB240 supports solar charging from panels with an output ranging from 16-68 volts. Sustained charging is limited to a 60 volts open voltage rating, which may be encountered when linking panels together for fast charging. The charging system can handle up to 10 Amps at up to 500 Watts. The charging port uses a DC 7909 socket. PowerOak includes a DC7909 to MC4 cable, making it compatible with the majority of portable panels on the market. Under ideal conditions, a full charge takes 5 to 5 ½ hours at 500 watts, and 8 to 8 ½ hours at 300 watts. A built-in maximum power point tracking (MPPT) controller adjusts the load on the panels automatically to maximize the charging rate while managing battery temperatures. Even at its maximum charging rate, the outside surface of this station remains cool to touch.
