    No scientific evidence to this, but stops me catching colds. When I buy this, no cold that Winter, has been the case every year I bought this. When I did not buy this, I got colds. If there is anything beyond a psychological effect, then my only assumption about this is that it is very strong and warming and I can feel a cold coming, a tingling nose, which I presume is cold virus doing its job in my nose, I take this and cold stopped in tracks. I find that it tastes awful, but works for me. I was introduced to this product in the 1980's by my mother to stop colds and I not know what the intended purpose of this product is, but every Autmn I order 6 bottles.

    The only product that broke the mucus/phlegm on my chest. No antibiotics could help - but this did. I had an old bottle and bought another as back up - but the content lasts for a long time. I'm very happy to know its an all natural product. You have to be careful to follow the instructions carefully. It will burn if a single drop touches your lips or tongue. Once a day as a regular preventative is more than enough. Wouldn't be without it.

    The health and medicinal benefits of cinnamon are perhaps not widely known, but if you have a problem with high blood pressure, respiratory tract infections, neuro-degenerative disease, insulin resistance, heart problems to name but a few, it is well worth your while to start investigating this spice.

    It makes a very pleasant, warming bedtime drink and a friend swears that they haven't had a cold/sore throat or the bronchitis that plagued them for years, since starting to take a teaspoon a day.

    I don't know how much of the active ingredient - Cinnamaldehyde - this Langdale's has, so I use it on top of a pure cinnamon oil as a preventative, simply because I like the taste.

    Ever since I was a young boy my mum always gave me a cup of warm milk with drops of Langdales Cinnamon stirred in when I had a cold.I have kept up this practice all my life and now in my seventies I still do. However, the chemist shops no longer stock it and I had to obtain it direct from Amazon and it arrived within a couple of days! If you feel you have a cold coming on or have difficulty breathing at night, try a cup of warm milk with a teaspoon of this essence. It does work wonders!.

    We were recommended this product in the 1960s by an old lady who had used it for years and we have used it ever since. Take it at the first sign of cold or flu. It will stop the bug developing, not just cure the symptoms. 1 teaspoon in a cup of hot water then drink it and/or or inhale the vapour. It is fantastic!!!! I have always been worried this magic old product would disappear but to my delight just found Amazon now stock it! Thank you!! It's worth every penny.
